Blowing a Muse…

Get your minds out of the gutter! It’s not what you think. No. Really. I think Silver has completely blown me off. I can’t find her anywhere! She was working on this new short story and I helped her with it. Seriously. I played what if with her for a day or so. I even gave her this really funny window character who keeps calling and bugging her heroine at the worst possible times. Toby is just…fun. Like me, you know? Well…not like me, but fun.
So anyway, I went off to play with Sade because, you know, Sade is, like, really wanting Silver to work on her book again but these other characters are cluttering up our mind and well, anyway…Sade and I were hanging out, expecting Silv to come find us just any moment and…and…she didn’t! *flail* *runs in circles* *flail* We came out and Silv wasn’t here. Or there. Or anywhere! *wail* She didn’t respond to people’s comments yesterday. *whimper* I want my author back! Have any of you seen her? Please send her home…. *sniffle* I checked her project count and she’s up over 17K words. I think she ran away to finish it. But I want her here. I’m hungry. And thirsty. And all alooooonnnnne! I don’t like it. *pout*
Huh. I’ll teach her. I’ll run away from home! Do any of you need a muse? I work cheap. Chocolate. Alpha males. Champagne. Filet Mignon. Truffles. Escargot. Caviar. *blink* Wait…what do you mean caviar is fish eggs. EWWWWWWW!!! *SPITspitspitspitSPIT* That was mean. I’m just gonna go hide in my corner until my writer comes back.

Sometimes, having a muse is like having kids. Sometimes, you just need a little seperation. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t love you. And it doesn’t mean she doesn’t need you. I’m sure she appreciates everything you’ve done for her. She probably just needed a little Silver time and once she’s gotten that, she’ll be back ready to rock-n-roll.
In the meantine, if you want to come and hang out with my muse, I’m sure he’d appreciate the company. He hasn’t seen much of me lately either (like – weeks) and he’s beginning to get a little annoyed. You know how men are. Hang in there and stay strong!! She’ll be back!!!
*gluggluglugs* Thanks! I needed that. But…but…I thought she loved me. Mostly. And she’s being mean by hiding from me. I want her to come HOOOOOOMMMMMMMME! Like right now!!!!
Muse? A HE muse? What’s his name? Does he like chocolate? Would he want to rub my feet and shoulders? Is he cute? Does he snore? These are all important, you know!

Silver will come back to you soon. I bet if you look around you will see her Kin gone too, so she might just be off reading someone else’s work…Hope the chocolate helps until she returns.

Pffft! *rolls eyes* Kin. That’s a three letter word around here. Silver doesn’t need to be reading. She needs to be playing with me. It’s bad enough she typity-tap-tap-types on that darn computer keyboard.
Iffy you can come stay with me until Silver gets back, but I don’t hear voices as most writers do, so you wouldn’t have much to do.

Ooooh. Poor Erika. *whimper* Did they pack their bags and everything? Take sack lunches? Maybe they’re just on a picnic. Or went clubbing or something. I’ll be glad to go look for them. Can I borrow your Flying Monkeys? I’ve heard all about them and I’m dying to meet them.
Hey Iffy, I don’t have a muse, I don’t have anything… but boxes and boxes of chocolates…. ton of hot hunky, sexier than sex men at my place… did I mention that they cater to me, lol… You are welcome to come hang out at my place till Silver gets back. I am sure she just went on a picnic herself, lol….. You never know… you might find some inspiration at my place!!! =)

I hope Silver, put out some bread crumbs so she could find her way back. If you want you could hang out with me, and educate me on the life of a muse. I don’t have one, so it would be helpful to get some clues as to how and where I can get one. Wanna give me the inside scoop on muses?

In charge today? I beg your pardon. I’m in charge EVERY day! Silver doesn’t give me much chocolate. I’m sure glad you guys had extra!
You don’t have a muse? Oh, poor Paula. *hugs* I have muse friends. There’s a shelter, you know, for wayward Muses. Pythagoras’s Muse Shelter, Emporium, and Used Computer Store. I could give you directions and maybe you could look at some of the stray Muses. Maybe find one to take home? We come to stay for a two-week, optional renewal no contract required trial period. Or one can just move in.
Wanna know how Silver trapped…er…caught…erm…invited me to stay? She asked “What if?” …A lot. *sigh* But it is my favorite game. Now I ask the questions. All the time. I mean, think about it. What if you when to Pythagoras’s? And what if you met this really cute Muse? And what if you invited him or her to tea? Or for appletinis? Or…chocolate?!? And what if the two of you talked and really liked each other and…See? Easy-peasy!
I have to go find Silver now. *sniffle* I really miss her. I mean really.
