Titter. Not Twitter. LOL! Sometimes I really wonder why the spam bots latch onto certain images or posts. Do you remember my post from a week or so ago I titled PANIC TIME? One of the spam comments came from an “anxietymedicine.ningetcblahblahblah made up email and name.” Yeah. While panic disorders are no laughing matter, the comment from that particular bot on that particular post made me gigglesnort. I’m sorry. I just couldn’t help myself.

I couldn’t help laughing about this one, too, when it arrived in my inbox. I’m old. I get to laugh. Except sometimes, it’s way too true. I hate driving along and then realize I’ve missed my turn. This usually happens because I’m arguing with a character. SOOOooooOOOOO embarrassing! Luckily, it only seems to happen when I’m alone. So…for all of you when you get to be my age:

SPEEDING TICKET

BOY, THERE ARE DAYS THAT I COULD TRUTHFULLY USE THIS EXCUSE.

Did you hear about the 83-year-old woman who talked herself out of a speeding ticket by telling the young officer that she had to get there before she forgot where she was going?

Makes perfectly good sense to me…

Just remember:

We’ll be FRIENDS until we are old and senile. Then we’ll be NEW FRIENDS…

Hi, New Friends. ;) Introduce yourselves and make yourselves at home. Would you like to tell me something I don’t already know about you? Wait…we’ve just met…haven’t we?

Hello new friend. Something you don’t already know bout me that I don’t mind posting on the internet……I got it. I’m adopted. I was adopted as an infant through the Missouri Department of Welfare at six weeks old. When I was a kid it was always a shock to my friends to find out. Remember how insulting it was to tell your brother/sister that they were adopted? I’ve known for as long as I can remember and always thought of my adoption as a gift for both myself and my parents.

Erika, whenever my brother and I fought as kids, my ultimate zinger was:

Mom and Dad just *had* you. They waited four years and picked me out! So :P

And see? Just one more thing we have in common. :D I’m glad you’re my friend.

Wow…I have to come back and reintroduce myself…call me the new shy friend.

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

Glad I’m not the only shy person around here. The internet helps me get past my shyness so I can talk to more people. However, I’m pretty shy when I meet new people for the first time in person. Of course, once I feel comfortable, I hold nothing back.

Hello, something you may not know … I’ve been infatuated with the name Ban Sidhe for awhile (see the new ‘page’ on my site) but it didn’t really STICK ’till I started playing XBox360 (It’s my gamertag) and all the guys started calling me Ban. (Even my husband calls me Ban once in awhile!) I admit, there are times I like it more than my given name. I didn’t pick that one and though I’ve grown to like it’s unique-ness (people still spell it wrong) Ban just fits me in a way that one never has. (BTW, my husband’s gamertag is onebadpig so I can call him ‘Pig’ all I want and get away with it!!!)

    • Silver James says:

I wonder how many here know what a ban sidhe is? LOL! (I speak Gaelic a little. ;) ) And while “ban” and “sidhe” fit you, you most defintely aren’t a “ban sidhe”! I love that you call the DH “Pig”! *gigglesnort* This is just so awesome. :D
