Hello, world! This is me happy dancing. I finished revisions yesterday afternoon and sent the MS off to Ms. Editor. I rewrote on long scene that was….a narrative summary and boring. I hope it’s better now. I think it is. And I finished just in time! Today is laundry and last minute errands and then packing! I can sit back and enjoy the road trip with Lawyer Guy with a clear conscience. (I’d planned on continuing revisions in the car if I needed to!) And I can dive into revisions on SEASON OF THE WITCH while I’m cruising. When I get home, it’s back to work on FAERIE FOOL.
But for now? It’s time to celebrate! Appletinis and margaritas on me, gang!
If I have time betwixt and between, I’ll try to arrange for brunch tomorrow. No promises, though. And maybe I can leave some surprises for y’all while I’m gone. Time. It all depends on time.
EDIT: OMG! Ms. Editor already returned my revisions. I’m doing line edits! w00t! Looks like I WILL be working on the drive but that’s okay! If the writing gods are happy, I may have a release date by the time I get back. I’m not holding my breath, but I can hope!

I’m taking them with me. I still have 150 pages to edit. Trying to see the laptop screen in the car can be tough. I’ll by some wifi time to email it when I finish. Tuesday is a sea day so I’ll probably be working. Then I plan on doing all those things.
And I’ll send “wish you were here!” thoughts. No, really, I will.

OMG…that was quick. Congrats on getting revisions done and now working on line edits. Woot!!! Girl do what you need to do. I am sure we ladies of the shadows can keep ourselves entertained for a bit. Do what you gotta go. Have fun!!! Take lots of pics too, and go for a walk at night, and try to catch the moon. The night walk was one of the best things I did when I went on a cruise a long, long time ago. I thought I could just pluck the stars and the moon from the sky.
