Tomorrow, we’re back to our regularly scheduled brunch. Sunday starts NaNoWriMo, though I’ve scheduled a special Sunday Sinema for Inspiration. Monday, I’ll introduce you to the characters in my new WIP, and the rest of the week, I’m curling up in my armchair to let you know what I’ve been reading. Now…let the Pet Party, begin! Happy Birthday to two of our favorite Halloween witches, Cecile and The Only!
Dogs are already critters. Why would they want to be other critters–especially fictional ones?!? What were these people thinking?!!?
What’s the deal with dressing dogs as food? I mean…hot dogs are bad enough but pah-leeze!
And would dogs really want to be people? Especially these people? I mean, peace out? International Shepherd of Mystery? (I’d be showing teeth, too!) Pugnacious on a bike? Granny and Li’l Red? Play ball? And I’m so not touching that last one…
You can never be too careful at Halloween. In case of an accident, like this poor Bassett, the local ER is staffed by the crack German Schnauzer team. X-rays are available! And finally, sometimes the ultimate trick is a real treat…if you’re a pooch!

I don’t know which one deserves the most sympathy. Really, what were their humans thinking? Personally, I think they should be charged with cruelty to animals. The poor pooches!

Ok, I will admit to dressing up my doxies. Last year they were pirate and wench and this year angel and devil. My laid back lab just looks at me as if to say if I dress him up he will bite me! I will post pics when I take them.

Yes. I want pics! I think Baseball Boy is the Designated Driver. They’re going to Bricktown to party with friends. We get her for family lunch tomorrow. Yeah. We know where parents rank now! LOL

I feel sorry for them, too. That’s why we’re letting them out! LOL! I’ll pass on the b-day wishes for sure. She’s off with her friends for the day. I’ve obviously raised a very independent witchling.

Silver, I love the lion in the first set, the biker in the second set and the x-ray? in the last set. My fav pic of all though is the last…man can be such an animal…yummmy….love his costume.
I am doing NaNoWriMo too. I am a little nervous. I just don’t know where to begin. I am looking forward to it though.

FYI- my puppies were very good about wearing their costumes. They even went outside and played around in them. Then they came in a got treats. whcih is why they don’t mind, cause they get extra treats!!
